A touching series about family and love

In HIS PROMISE, we are introduced to Kim and Bruce.
This young couple was madly in love and when Bruce goes away to college with the intent of becoming a doctor, she promises to wait for him.
But misunderstandings, family intervention and lack of communication keeps them apart. Disillusioned, Kim marries a man she doesn’t love . A marriage that didn’t last. Twenty years later, Bruce is back in town, now a nationally acclaimed pediatrician. When they meet again, they realize the sparks are still there but so are the hurt feelings.
Will they get a second chance at love, or will the past continue to interfere?

In LOVE’S PROMISE - we continue with the story of Kim and Bruce Siegel. This time around, they are planning a wedding. A PROMISE OF FOREVER-
Wow, I absolutely loved this story. The story centers around single mom of 5 , Brandyne, and Sheriff Blake Gatlin.
Brandyne has lived in poverty , especially after Willy, the father of her children, and the man for whom she dropped all her future plans at the age of 18, abandons them . One of the men that find them in a shack is Blake. A man with a gentle soul, and one that with the town’s help, is helping her survive.
A friendship develops between these two, but what can Brandyne offer him, but her own baggage and a woman with 5 kids?
Blake sees in Brandyne a strong woman who has survived in spite of the obstacles she has had to overcome.
But what happens when she is left homeless a second time? What happens when Willy comes back? Will Blake be left with a broken heart?
Kudos to the narrator Joleen Sweetstone. She did a wonderful job with the various voices.

I like the series I enjoyed it I like the characters I like the books I like it all I don’t think I read a book yet by Lorraine Eckhart I didn’t like one of my favorite authors

Finding love

Love these stories. They hold your interest from the start. I love how all the families are connected in someway.

Love in the Air

Duet series and single novel in this box set. Both contemporary. The duet is a second chance romance for first loves who meet twenty years later. They have to deal with lies, miscommunication and interfering parents. They finally have their HEA. The last book is about an understanding and accepting guy willing to take on already made family of a woman with five kids.

Short Stories that Felt Rushed

I listened to the audiobook. The narration was ok.

Each book was interesting, but they could have been longer. The first two books were about Bruce and Kim. Kim seemed to suffer from some insecurities, and I could understand seeing that they had some communication issues.

In The Book A Promise of Forever, I liked both Brandyne and Blake. Brandyne had a rough time. I felt badly that she had to struggle so hard. I liked that Blake was not bothered by her situation at all, and was so supportive.

I liked each book, but they all felt rushed to me.
