Just perfect!

I bought the book because of the narrator… I loved the book because of the story. Well done author AND narrator 🤩

All I can say is Awwwwww

I love the read, it had everything any girl would want and more. I loved all the characters and the family story line. The ending I had to think about but by the time I finished I understood and likely would have done the same thing. I love strong family in the storyline and found the read perfect for a relaxing, rainy day.

Beautiful Story

What a beautiful story, they way they treated and loved other. Forgiving all of them. i kept waiting for the drama and their a little but so much love. Great book

Really Good but…

It was a really good story with a good ending but honestly way too good to be true I know it wasn’t a true story, but there were no protagonist. Everything turned out hunky-dory, which is nice to listen to something like that once in a while but way too good to be true.

I just kept waiting for the usual setbacks

Some reviewers have said they found the two main characters to be too good to be true. As I was listening, I kept waiting for the usual setback of the main characters’ romance, i.e. “ the other shoe to drop,”but it never did. There were surprises and moments when you thought it could go either way, but it just didn’t follow the usual pattern of this kind of romance. I felt that the heroine was just so happy to finally find love and a family that she wasn’t going to let anyone mess that up. The problem with the heroine is that she was so “perfect “ no one wants to believe she could exist. I think there are people out there just like her, but between the way good gets lost and the desire to stay out of the limelight, we just don’t hear about most of these people. I will probably listen to this one again so it’s a five star.

So many lies.

Great story. The characters were great. Luke and Sarah . He had to find out the truth. Lies had been told. The truth was so different than what they were told. Sarah had to insure for her two sons.

A feel good book

I really did not want this to end. Loved the characters. Narrator was great as always.

I loved to see how important it is to be forgiving of family members who have hurt you and to just love each other.

Lost and found family

The performance was pleasant to listen to. With audio books the voice is a real consideration in where I will buy an audiobook. The story was an easy listen while I was working. I liked the closed door romance. When I have a story that has multiple open door scenes I pretty much get bored and skip the through the story. I know a lot of people must like but I think it is an easy way for author to have multiple repeating pages in a story and not have an interesting story. This story was a nice thought, but not believable. The female character was too good to be believable. No mother would take children out of school for 6 weeks, no business woman would leave office with multiple high dollar accounts for 6 weeks to stay where she was treated the way she was. Someone that successful has multiple lawyers on speed dial. Also you may move on and not hate a husband’s mistress, but having a lot of interaction when not necessary for your child will not happen. As in all books like this most of life changes are made by the woman. The male was very loving and talked about changing but he still lived where he wanted and worked how he wanted.
