Fun read

The detective duo and friends are entertaining with their banter and have a great camaraderie between them.

Splendid series

I loved this mystery series. The narrators were great and made the book come to life. They both put a lot effort into it and I did not have a complaint or a suggestion that could have made it any better. The author wrote a great plot and wonderful characters. This will be a series a listen to many times. I hope the rest of the audiobooks in the series come quickly so I can get them.

Fun world creation

English-European gentility utilizing odd magical aspects combined with a plain speaking, honorable, modern detective. Funny mysteries. I hope you can get more on Audible.

Great fun story. Definitely recommend. looking forward to the next in the series which unfortunately isn't available yet for audiobook. Hopefully soon.

Steampunk noire fun

The two (3?) different narrators is hard to pull off in audio. Between having 2 readers and very different speech patterns for each character, this one pulls it off without having to state it outright at the beginning of each chapter. Great series for anyone who enjoys a light fantasy/mystery that mixes all the modern technology with Victorian proprietary. Can’t wait for the rest of the series to come to Audible.

Read beautifully. the voices of the characters were spot on. just as i imagined them when i read the books first.Can't wait for the other Henry Davenforth stories to be read so I can purchase them.

Love this series!

I absolutely adore this series. The writing style and editing is fantastic and the voice actors do an awesome job with all the various characters. This is one of the few series I repeatedly go back to and re-read and replay. I definitely recommend!

Another Winner

The continued outstanding performance by the two narrators makes this fantasy mystery story come to life. The story line picks up seamlessly from the previous book. And Clint? Don’t we all want one?

Excellent, as expected.

The series continues full steam ahead and I continue to love the narration.

The only voice that was hard to understand was the felix's, but there are only a few lines for him here. If it changes in future books, a different approach to this character narration might be needed.
