FEMALE NARRATION ONLY

I was disappointed to listen and find out throught the whole book it was only the female narrator that read the book even though it specifically said 2 narrators, a female and male. the male narrator did not show up until the epilogue of the book which really sucked. so it was just the FMC point of view with the female narrator reading the entire book.

This has one of my favorite mafia-romance first meetings. I loved that the FMC was a polyglot who could flip between languages, read micro-expressions, and loved books — she was smart, capable, and interesting on every page. I also personally love when the FMC is actually useful to the organization, whether she’s a hacker, a nurse, a marksman, or a translator, and this scratched that itch perfectly.

My only wish? I wanted the MMC to feel a little more gritty and masculine. He read a bit too feminine at times for a mafia romance, but the story still completely pulled me in.
