This was an amazing book but I would say I, personally liked the first books in this series, (it’s still amazing)🤩

The best book

This is one of the best book I have read in a long time thank you Jason Reynolds

I really enjoyed all 4 books in this series!!!!! I saw Jason Reynolds in an interview and was intrigued about his work. I had know idea which book to read first but saw the title Ghost and began listening. I was hooked from the first sentence and continued listening to all the books until completed 2 days later. The actor, Guy Lockard also gets applauded. He became each character! He made me feel as if this was a stage/movie production. I was able to feel sense see all what the characters was going through. Well worth the time to listen. I bought the whole series to have in my collection.

Inspired

Hope the people who read this book, parents and children will be inspired to do the right thing. I like the lessons to be learned in Lu. Parents don't have a manual for raising children. Books like this one are the guides we need as parents. Bravo!

“Lightening Lu”

Lu was the icing on the cake. Although I thoroughly enjoyed them all, Ghost, Patina, Sunny, Lu’s story was just outstanding. Jason Reynolds really kicked literary butt with this series. I’ve been passing the books out left and right to my students.

Kids loved it as much as we did

This was a real joy to listen to. We listened to all four in the series and couldn’t wait to go for another family drive just to keep up with everyone.

Another wonderful story that will help kids (both boys and girls, because J.R.'s boys have feelings which are very relevant to girls---its not just about being tough) understand the pain of bullying; the difficulty in parenting; the fortune that befalls a community when there are good sports coaches. I notice on his list that he has some adult books too. I'm going to try those, since the Middle School books can't be written as fast as they can be enjoyed. Thank you J.R. You are terrific. And your readers/actors are mighty fine too.
