That is, until five years later, when her best friend Stephanie thinks she might have seen the supposedly dead Daniel. Is she right, and if she is, what will it mean for Maria, who believes in the sanctity of marriage? God is there to help her on her journey, but how many more years must pass before she finally finds complete happiness, and who will it be with?

Emotional rollercoaster, keeps your interest.

First I need to say there are parts of the story that the narrator seems to be reading from an empty room. If that fact can be ignored, the narration is okay.

The story is Christian based with no apologies and I for one appreciate that. Sometimes life is hard and one's faith is paramount in getting through it.

There is romance and enduring love in the book, but it isn't 100% of what one expects like in most romance stories.

The story kept my interest as the life the character lived was very different.
