In this steamy and sweet sapphic romance, an uptight athletic trainer has one taboo night with a hot basketball player, but are they ready to play for what they really want?

Scoring was the easy part

Hard work has Khadijah Upton starting her dream job as an athletic trainer for the Atlanta Cannons. Then an evening of celebratory letting loose turns into a one-night stand with a beautiful stranger. It’s a reckless, wildly sexy encounter that Khadijah intends to forget…until her first day on the job lands her face-to-face with basketball star Shae Harris again.

Shae is a major player in every sense of the word, and Khadijah doesn’t plan to be the latest in a long line of “Harris Honeys.” Personal and professional just don’t mix. But Shae, who’s all about living life to the fullest, keeps tempting Khadijah to blur the boundaries. And the more Shae reveals about herself, the harder it is for Khadijah to resist her.

In the bedroom, their tension sizzles. On the court, it’s a liability. But unless Khadijah’s willing to really let Shae in, it won’t be just the team championship on the line, but a body-and-soul connection that rewrites all the rules.

I enjoyed reading about the complexity of the characters, their relationships with others and how they interact with others. It would be difficult not to love this book. The writing is pure poetry! The acting is superb. Just listen and you will love it!

Phenomenal Writing, Great Story

This story was everything I didn’t know I needed — sweet, funny, and full of chemistry. Meka James really knows how to balance romance and real emotion. The banter had me smiling, and the narration brought every moment to life. It’s the perfect listen when you want something lighthearted but still full of heart.

Great Story!

Has insta attraction leading to a spicy night together just to find out they now work together. From there it’s a lot of drama between them but also the book has a lot of spice. I agree with the teammates. They need to figure their shit out.

I loved this audible book from the very beginning the story trapped me in the best ways. The main characters are complicated in their own right but wow their chemistry was incredible and intoxicating I was anticipating the roller coaster ride but received so much more.

Narrators were incredible they both had the right pace, and the right sensuality that brought the story to new heights.

this is a story that I will continue to revisit.

Sexy love story with beautiful representation

I listened to this twice back to back to make sure I didn’t miss anything. It was a good story, but Deja irritated my soooul. Like was this written to bring light to autism or OCD? I mean it’s fine, I support inclusive themes, but I think I needed a heads up. lol.

An ode to mental health
