Love You Anyway is the second book in the Buttercup Hill series. It is a brothers college best friend, age gap, small town, close proximity romance. This was a cute fun read between Colin & PJ. It's full of passion & steam. You get all the feels, witty banter, over protective siblings and so much love. This was an enjoyable read.

Hannah Chiclana & Aaron Donaghue did a great job job bringing this story and these characters to life.

It is great to be back in Stacy Travis’ “Buttercup Hill” series for another fabulous romance novel, a brother’s best nerdy billionaire and his friend’s younger sister romance. Buttercup Hill Vineyards, a vineyard in Napa, owned and operated by the Corbetts, and each book in the series features a different sibling, and this second book is the youngest daughter, Penelope June, aka PJ or Junebug. She is the public relations coordinator for the family business, the fixer of all and also a spitfire, not afraid to speak her mind. Colin Hathaway, an astrophysicist and self-made billionaire, is Archers good friend and former college roommate, and when Colin needs to get away from it all and stay low key, so Archer offers him one of their cabins. PJ and Colin have a somewhat awkward first meet, but he found her intriguing, and it was clear from the start that there was an undeniable chemistry between them, but he knew he needed to steer clear, not only because of who she was but because of the baggage he brings. Colin is career focused and does not have time for a relationship and PJ is not looking for one, but the two can not stay away from each other and they could only deny themselves for so long. It was great to watch these two get to know each other and see their relationship morph into something more, despite neither one wanting it, all is good until he needs to get back to his life, and as a nerdy workaholic he is not relationship material, but if you want something bad enough, you make it happen even if you have to compromise, if he does not blow it with her first. I adored these two and was rooting for them the entire time. This wonderfully plotted, multilayered story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, charming humor and witty dialogue, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. The Corbetts are still trying to figure out what their father did with the money and they are finally on to something after discovering something very interesting. I am looking forward to seeing where that goes and for the next book in the series, Dash’s story. Stacy Travis, thank you for another wonderful story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue’s wonderful performance continues and they do an amazing job bringing the characters to life, humanizing them with their personality and giving each a voice that suits them perfectly. Chiclana was a natural in her role as PJ, handled her witty dialogue with ease and never missed a beat, and Donaghue was just as fabulous in his role as Colin. Both were fantastic performing the roles of the secondary characters too. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling each one. These two voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to.

Get ready for this audio to hit a lot of your tropes. PJ and Colin are the perfect match because they allow themselves to be vulnerable without even meaning to. PJ is the little sister who feels unseen/misunderstood while she tries to prove that she’s changed. Colin is a workaholic who hasn’t taken time to do much outside of work or work engagements. When Colin and PJ meet it starts off with banter/sparks that will have you falling in love.

Love You Anyway by Stacy Travis was a brother's best friend small-town romance that did deliciously good things to my heart. PJ and Colin's journey to HEA is full of steamy twists and swoony turns that make this book a fun, low-angst listen. This is book 2 in Stacy's Buttercup Hill series.

Hannah Chiclana and Aaron Donaghue perform this audiobook in dual narration. Both narrators do a great job of bringing their characters to life. Hannah captured PJ's dedication to the winery and desires for Coline perfectly while Aaron conveyed Colin's doubts and confidence brilliantly. Both brought the longing and the heat too!

Overall, I enjoyed this audiobook. It was an easy, quick, and loveable listen. I look forward to more from Stacy Travis.

I adored PJ and Colin’s relationship from the very beginning. Their connection was immediate and electric. Colin, a billionaire businessman and astrophysicist, is hiding out at his best friend’s winery to dodge a PR scandal. Meanwhile, PJ, the sassy and witty younger sister of the Corbett family, is always busy managing the winery’s various challenges. Their meet-cute was absolutely charming ☕♟. I loved their chess games, stolen moments, and sweet dates. Colin was truly a dream 🥰. The book was filled with angst and forbidden romance as they tried to keep their relationship a secret from Jackson.
