Fabulous!!!

Such a fabulous book - beautifully written and narrated - it’s a little jewel with so many facets and such depth. It has the feeling of a fairy tale, a Dickens story and an intimate look into a creative man’s life and how he was affected by the period of history he lived in. I just loved it!

What a great read!. What a story! Author kept me interested from beginning to end. Very inspiring story. I laugh, I cried. They were a big part of France history too. Performance by the narrator was superb. Excellent book! I enjoyed it very much.

Well written story of LV truly comes to life. The author has written 15 books and I would love to listen to more of her titles in audio form. Turns out that her great grand mother is a historical character in the book confronting a Prussian soldier.

I enjoyed this beyond my expectations!

Wow, this was an amazing story. I couldn't stop listening and learning so much from the story of the founder of such an iconic luxury brand. I'm inspired!

Craved more

As a life-long fan of Louis Vuitton's humble beginnings, I purchased this book to learn more of the story, but had low expectations as I anticipated a tedious history lesson. However, this book gripped me from the very beginning and never let go. The story is extremely well written and it was an absolute joy to listen to Jennifer Connelly tell the story. I never wanted it to end. Calling this book a "fashion book" does it a huge disservice. This is a book about hard work, leadership, resilience, loyalty, and success. I cannot wait to listen again and again. Thank you, Caroline!

The story is excellent and Jennifer Connolly’s narration makes it even better. Well written and spoken….audiobook at its best!

Who knew how much hard work and perseverance went into the creation of this luxury brand? This biography of LV is truly inspirational. The added bonus is that the book is well written and nicely performed,.
