excellent stories of western life

brought to life in old fashion tale by Willie Nelson and given to exceptional lore. very enjoyable listening whether for you first or fith time hearing it.

Stories good but too many guitar breaks

A guitar break from Willie between chapters and stories makes sense and would have been appreciated but it feels like there's one after every paragraph which continuously interrupts the flow of the stories.

A joy to listen to the stories come to life with Willie Nelson’s narration. An added treat was to hear the superstar cast perform Riding for the Brand. It was truly enjoyable.

This is a very interesting retelling of some of L’Amour’s stories . Done extremely well by another great story teller, Willie Nelson. Well worth the the effort for a good afternoon’s listening entertainment.
