Geneen Roth has an amazing way of leading us into ourselves, through the door way of what we suffer from most. Be it Food, Money or how we spend our Time. Her wisdom shows us what it means to really pay attention to what we already have. In addition to learning the tools of taking in and really letting ourselves have what we have now. Now in this very moment.
Her journey is amazing and we are all better for her sharing it with us.

another great book by Roth.

Geneen Roth has helped me so much with food starting when I was a teenager and I am forever grateful. Her story about losing her money is fascinating and the parallels with food are spot on. Glad I finally read this book.

Fantastic book

This book was recommended to me and once I started listening to it I couldn't stop. I felt like she was talking about me!

Good read to become money conscious

Author's very personal account. Story is hers but her insight was illuminating. I am now able to see a lot of my own "stuff" around money and feel empowered to change it up.

Excellent book full of wisdom and gentle reminders of our own power of food, and money. Highly recommend! I absolutely love Geneen Roth!

A Blessing!

Geneen Roth's writing style is wonderful and her tone honest. She says what needs to be said about food and money compulsions, and calls for the Reader to do the same. In doing so she opens the door to being truthful with ourselves about what all suffering boils down to: our perceived unworthiness of self. This in itself makes the few repetitive themes easy to overlook.

As a side: she does narrate this version. Some have mentioned that her voice is grating, etc. It did take a few passages to get used to, but overall I enjoyed it. To hear her words as she meant them to be heard is wonderful.

Awesome book with great things to think about and is life-changing if Roth’s teaching is applied.
