A rare find

I usually don't write reviews, but this book deserves it. The story has you captivated after ten minutes. The dialouge is so funny and well written it's 9 hours of pure joy to listen to. Sometimes humor and a big heart goes a long way. It is obvious that Orson ScottCard loved the characters he wrote about in this story. Highly recommended!

Lost and found in so many ways

This is my favorite Orton Scott Card book! Beth befriends Ezekiel and changes both their lives for good. I cried as his dad was telling 14 year old Ezekiel about his mother. She had died when he was four, and sometimes he couldn’t remember her clearly. I liked Shank, the detective, his group leader and the DeLa Mars’ family. Definitely a five star read.

Very entertaining

This book is a fun read. I enjoyed all the characters and how they were developed. The kids in the "Miropowers group. reminded me of the sidekicks from the Movie sky high. the friendship between Ezekiel and betty reminds me of the relationship of the boy and Girl in Bridge to Terabithia.

Zek saved Renee and Beth

It was a good long drawn out book that goes over learning what his micro power is and then he finds he can use it to find a kidnapped girl by holding her build-a-bears. Then his friend gets kidnapped by the same kidnapper. Before that her mom dies in her house and she doesn’t tell anyone and shoved wet paper towels under the door to keep the smell out. She does that for 6 months. Once kidnapped, Zek finds Beth and their friendship continues on even stronger. The end.

Love this narrator!

Well written book lighthearted feel good type book with a little tragedy. This will be on the reread list for sure.

Very emotional

I like Card's style so I may be biasd but it was very pleasent read.

Micro gifts

Do each of us have some kind of micro gift? it appears some have strong ones and others weaker, but it just could be that some of our own personal traits may be micro powes. Though this appears to be a young adult book, enjoyed the word play and the story line.

Clever Title

Clever Title; So many different meanings of what and how is lost and found. Very Clever. Telling a story to explain so many different aspects of life. Sneaks in and before you know it you are totally engaged; making you care for the characters in a really good story and then all of a sudden its over and you are left thinking - oh how many layers are there to this story? Lessons taught without any effort can be the most difficult to achieve and yet effective of all. Micro powers to all!!!!
