The inimitable Lord Harrington
Jaunty jolly and full of opinions but fun if you’ve been enjoying the series. The narrator has a consistently stilted style and a little trouble with the wife’s voice but all in all a mystery very much in the ‘cozy’ style.

Sad and waiting for more
Waiting patiently and anxiously for the next one. I listen to these in the car and have sat in my driveway waiting for a chapter to end.

A bit slow.
I’ve enjoyed all of the Lord Harrington books so far. This one however was a bit too slow for me. The build up was slow and It took a long time for the multiple threads to come together. I typically finish her book in a day, but this one it took several weeks to get back too it after putting it down after a couple hours. When I got back to it, I Finally skipped to the end which I rarely do.
