What's not to love

Book 2 it's a wonderful story that follows Ace and Dylan .
Perfect read with perfect narration- you feel as if your there -- woohoo!

The story is well put together, and this narrator is wonderful !! Often fiction stories are 'over-emoted', but this one is done perfectly

Gobsmacked!!!

I just finished this book after having listened to the first book of this series yesterday. It was a wonderful listen of how being a star bigger than life and meeting your soulmate humbles you and firmly plants your feet on the ground. Just how tough it is or can be for what we as the public perceive stardom and the stars we worship can have it in their lives by trying to live up to our expectations. So loved going through Ace's coming out with Dillon by his side and the trials and tribulations they had to overcome and endure. True love won out in the end but... as I was smiling from ear to ear at the very end and the music started playing.... it ended!!!! So much more that I wanted and desperately needed to hear! Please,please let there be even a novella to follow this up with.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys struggles with a HEA.

I love the story and the narrator did an awesome job. Ace and Dylan are one of my fav couples and Ella and Brooke do not disappoint

My only complaint is that sometimes it’s hard to differentiate between the characters voices, but the narrator was still very good!

This book picks up exactly where the first book left off, so if you haven't read that book, stop reading this review right now because there will be spoilers from the first story.

So, in this book, Ace and Dylan are still dealing with the backlash from the expose about their relationship. Ace is losing jobs right and left, but the notoriety has actually done some great things for Dylan's modeling. On top of all the mental strife that is causing, now they are also having to deal with the crazy intrusive paparazzi every time they turn around. Things are a little stressful which is hard on any relationship, much less one as new as theirs is.

The one thing that I truly loved about all the places that this story went (and it did go all over the place...including those awful scenes with Dylan's mother)...I loved that Ace never ONCE faltered in his commitment to Dylan. That makes him an incredible hero...because this relationship is ruining everything for him, but he still refuses to even consider giving Dylan up. I LOVED THAT SO, SO MUCH!

That's what makes these stories so good...truly Dylan and Ace are perfect together (that and the omg, hotter than hot visuals the authors paint of the two guys...happy sigh).

I just love this series and am already listening to the third and final book in the series.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Locked?

When Dylan took Ace to meet his family, the boat ride. Lord I think that between the way this scene was written coupled with the spot on delivery from Charlie David it was one of the most emotional scenes I've ever listened to.

What about Charlie David’s performance did you like?

See above for starters. Every fucking thing! He's just amazing. Every word is enunciated perfectly, delivered flawlessly, full of all the emotion and character the author intended.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Aside from the boat scene I'd say the ending.

Any additional comments?

Wow, just when I thought these two Authors couldn't make these two men any more lovable or realistic, they did just that. As with the first book in this series, Aced, I thoroughly enjoyed how these two men know what they want and are no longer afraid to say so. A couple of times, Dylan thinks briefly that Ace might want to dive head first back into the closet. But Ace quickly rectifies that and reassures his lover that he's sincere.

Frank and Blaine really know how to write an amazing, intricate and detailed romance. Their characters have depth and personality, face the same set backs everyone else does and deal with all of that like adults, which is very refreshing. No angst, none, probably my favorite aspect to this series. Just a fast paced, fun ride with Ace and Dylan as they settle into being together out in the open, and fuck anyone that has a problem with it!
