About the author: David Coleman has competed at five Olympic trials in two different sports - three summer Olympics trials for discus and two winter Olympic trials for bobsleigh. At the age of 25, David was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis. He continues to fight the condition every day - and wants to help others do the same.
