Fantastic epic story

Simons has the incredible ability to write epic tales of history, challenges and epic loved

A remarkable, epic love story.

No one makes you wait like Paulina Simon's. And no one does epic like her, either. This narrator was more than up to the task. A magnificent performance that kept me up late, eager to hit play in the morning, and pausing for long moments throughout the day, just to listen for a few more minutes. The book is going to hurt you a bit, but in my opinion, the pain is worth it.

So good!

Such a talented writer who weaves this love story together until it concludes the only way it can. Highly recommend!

Fantastic narrator

I’m a big fan of the Bronze Horseman series so I was excited for this one to be released. I really enjoyed learning more about Ukraine. I love how Paullina mixes history and story. The narrator on this one is so good. She changes up accents and voices like it’s nothing. Well done.

Beautiful Love Story, Tragic, and Heartbreaking

The Bronze Horseman has been one of my absolute top favorite love stories. I’ve read and listened to the trilogy several times. I’ve had this book downloaded for a while certain that PS could not write another brilliant love story. Well being surprised and captivated by Finn and Isabelle’s story doesn’t really describe how much I loved it. Reflections to the past are done well, the writing is everything, very much keeping with the time period. These amazing characters are so well developed it’s easy for a deep understanding and connection to happen for the reader. The writing is so good for these characters I could visualize the scenes playing out as I listened to the narration. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that many tissues are needed about a quarter left of the book to the very end. My heart hurt still even when it was done. This is my favorite book so far this year and I absolutely recommend reading/listening.

Narration was excellent. Jill Winternitz provided an authentic accent for Isabelle as she tried to learn English and then gave such emotion thru the characters. Truly added to how amazing the book was.
