I do love how 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and the Count of Monte Cristo are woven into this story...and not in a dumb/silly way either.

Self-editing aside (can't see how a real editor would do such a poor job), it's a well-written story and I did enjoy it very much!

With this author you never know what storyline is going to come at you. Being well into the series i went back to close out the series. The description didn't appeal that much to me. But, like that perviable box of chocolate it was delicious.
To critics all I can say is if you want a book based in fact you should stick with non fiction.
