retirement it's okay

this is a nice book. gives you ideas of what Heroes try achieve after the people think of the glory days. when they are put in front of life and death, then it is over and they need to find a new way in the world. the smart Barbarian with humor

One of the best stories I have heard so far. Can't wait till the next book!

So I don't normally leave a review for most of the books. I have just recently found out about audio books. But I am very much addicted to them. Dante King is one of my favorite Authors by far. This in my opinion is my favorite of the audiobooks I have of his work.

One word GREAT!!

This is an absolute phenomenal start to a book series. I will be waiting patiently for book two. The voice actors are top notch.

Another great farmer book

I always like a good war hero settling down type book. This is one of the dante king books I enjoy not his usual 10 smut moments in the first half of the book, 3-5 is just the right amount.

Another fun book from Dante King!

A great start to a fun adventure! At least, I hope it is just the start and not a stand-alone novel. I really want to see more in this storyline!

💙💙💙💙💙I hope there are more books to come in this series! The MC is great along with a really good supporting cast! The story is captivating! The narrators also do a good job of bringing the story to life! Great job Dante King!

Valdis had no idea what he was getting into when he rescued Lydia from the sky pirates. Now he is a hero with not one love interest but two, maybe three?

enjoyable

an enjoyable series so far, an intresting take on a legendary hero going to be a farmer, it was surprisingly good. I recommend giving it a try

Good story

I thought the story was great. The narrators were excellent and the world building nice for a retired op mc . The writing style was cool.
