I don’t know but I thought this was going to end in a bang but it was ok. This did have more steamy scenes and the characters developed nicely so did the world around them. Overall it was an ok ending but the narrators did a good job.

Excellent Ending!!! But they're pretty stupid.

Other than skeevy Mateo the author only failed bythe way the main characters were so slow witted. The case for portraying the Elders as evil was ridiculous. And how they could the survivors they found owed them anything showed these wolf people had limited emotional and intellectual capabilities. Even the best ofthem act like idiot brutes. BUT, the story is so goid you overlook the weaknesses.

Overall a good story well performed

I think the series started strong, but waned especially in book 4. I believe the series is still worth-while and I am glad I completed the series. The third and especially fourth book became annoying due to the characters complete lack of scientific understanding and a lack of basic logic. The wolves being angry with the elders made no sense. Their society would have died without the Elders' foresight and brilliant strategies. It was especially annoying that Emory made no attempt to support the Elders. He was presented as a character with extraordinary intelligence, yet followed the MFC's assessment of the Elders. This was extra annoying when the MFC was presented on multiple occasions as having below average intelligence. Throughout the series, it is pointed out how she cannot grasp basic concepts like the difference between an ocean and lake, the diffence of tree varieties, that her own mother is being abused, etc. Writing the MFC to have a higher intelligence and having them understand the Elders' plans would have lifted the story to 5-stars. All that said, it is still a decent listen overall that I would recommend.

The world, wraiths, strategy, tension, and hints of spice— good stuff. Loved these narrations by the voice actors. Nicely finished series. Thank you
