Dreadful Narration

Don’t know what I found more annoying- the endlessly tinkling piano or the slurred staccato reading style of the narrator.
I’ll say this, I listen to this book a lot. It has cured my insomnia. 15 minutes and I’m out.

I wasted a credit on one of my favorite authors.

The story is excellent, befitting P.G. Wodehouse. The narrator would be fine reading a western or other story, but he falls dreadfully short reading Wodehouse. His eastern American accent as well his odd pauses while he clunks through the book convinced me to stop listening after really trying for a chapter or two. Also, throughout the narrative there is an annoying, tinkling sort if music that further detracts from any enjoyment I could find. I'm looking for the same title, read by someone else.

The narrator isn’t great and there is creepy, distracting background music. Don’t buy this audiobook.
