Decent story, false premise

This story, while somewhat entertaining, is not Bond's best work. The books of the entire series all had two major flaws. One is the premise of climate change as a major catalyst for global war. While a leftist trope, man-,made climate change is an idiotic boogeyman.

Even worse, a major character in this series is a preposterously badass female CIA paramilitary officer. This is ridiculous, purely feminist fantasy, and fictional nonsense at its worst. There is not now, nor has there ever been a female CIA paramilitary operative who has been anything other than an imitation of the real thing, designed to virtue signal CIA's commitment to diversity and there have been ZERO operational accomplishments by any of the few DEI poster girls. So the entire premise of the storyline is unbelievable bravo sierra. Read at your own risk.

This is one of the best combat series in my collection. I highly recommend this series. IT IS A MUST HAVE FOR YOUR COLLECTION . The narrative is superb.
