Part of the Company of Rogues series

In their school-days at Harrow, a student with a natural leadership temperament had organized a club, so to speak, of invited fellow students. Now, though they're all more than ten years older and all are living quite different lives, those friendships are still steady, healthy rewarding elements in their lives. It's a great series!

Good but not satisfied

The storyline was different from other books which was a nice change but not really true to the description. I liked the book but didn’t love it. I wanted more depth in their love and the intimate scenes felt glossed over even though there were only two. One which was at the Very end.

The narration pulled me in!

Simon Prebble has such an elegant way of narrating that he captures you. With every twist and turn, you were plunged into the emotions, the details and flow of the story, that you forget you're in the present. Brava!!!

Good Storyline

I enjoyed listening to this story. The narrator is not My Favorite but an excellent narrator of other genres I have listened to. I have listened to all of the Rogues novels and truly suggest listening to them in sequence...

Story did not have enough romance dragged on about history of main characters not enough happiness a sad story
