I loved the storyline
The book blends modern with medieval with a touch of fantasy and magic perfectly. The characters were interesting and funny. The romance developed well and had definite spice. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing each character to life.

Fun Adventure
This was quick and fun. A fairytale that makes you smile and laugh. Reminds me of a retelling of old style fairytales. Worth the time to enjoy.

Way more intercourse than expected
This was a fun story, and I can’t complain too much because it was free and also short, but the repeated intercourse was not what I expected from a 3 1/2 hour book that sounded more like a YA novella from the description. I thought maybe I just hadn’t paid enough attention to the description because it was free, but at the time of this review, I don’t see anything that would have clued me in that they would be at it like bunnies.
To be fair, it was maybe medium spice. It certainly wasn’t fade-to-black, it was described in detail but the language used was tasteful.
I don’t object to “romance” novels, I just like to know when that’s what I am, in fact, reading. If you think this will be a fun book to listen to on a long car ride with your tween, BE WARNED.

Cute and Short
Very cute, very short story. The performance was a bit over-the-top, but fun. I actually thought she did a great MMC. Slow burn with a little bit of open-door spice. Tastefully written intimate scenes.
