sensing pro life undertone

It started off not terrible but towards the middle that’s when things shift. There were parts that either dragged too long or just felt way too rushed,

Enjoyed the storyline

Overall I really enjoyed this book. Some parts felt drawn out to long but it was a great book. I wasn't a fan of the female speaker though. The story didn't flow as well on her chapters. This was a heart-warming, sweet story.

Fantastically Perfect

The author and narrators hit this out of the park. I absolutely loved the blending of English and Spanish. The feels good parts and the heart jerkers were just so well written. I had all the feels in the story. All of the characters blended perfectly too.

Sweet and engaging

Great read. Love the plot and characters a lot of sweet moments. Ending was great with a lot of love.

A book that grabs at page one

I was delighted to see that Stephanie Fournets' book is on audible. I downloaded it the first day. I love to listen to audible books while I walk each day.
" Kind of Cursed" made me look forward to my daily walk so much. As usual the author is such a down to earth , talented one.
The stories are everyday sagas , which are entertaining for different ages. The family in "Kind of Cursed" stuck together in cajun/french style and it added a much needed, touch of humanity a this time of uncertainty. Thank you Stephanie Fournet for another of your books to entertain and for giving us a nice break from currrent events.

Good performances, below average story

Weird pro life undertone to the whole book. I have no problem with the concept but atleast be clear about it!

Love narrators and story

Easy sorry to listen to. Love the characters’ love story and the untraditional aspects to it.

Loved the story

Hayes the female narrator. Her tone was so odd, really missed the mark compared to the male narrator. Couldn’t finish it. And I can usually get used to less than terrific narrators and power through. I’ll have to check this out from the library.

Cute!

Such a cute story overall. Narration was great especially Luc. Millie’s narration sounded robotic at times, but not a dealbreaker. HEA and no drama.

Trauma a bit underdeveloped.

My only critique of this book was its glossing over some serious grief. the way they were grieving felt more like the parents had been gone for 6 years than 6 months. It felt underdeveloped.
