Beautiful and poignant

This was such a special, touching, lovely book and so well written. The narration deserves 6 stars - Moira Quirk turned this into a masterpiece of an experience. I didn’t want it to end but I felt so satisfied when it did. I can’t wait for more books from this author!!

Good spin on a classic fairytale

I like the way the author just drops you into this story and then develops the characters and the world. I could have used a little more explanation about how certain things worked; but overall it was a good listen.

I'm surprised there isn't any other reviews on here about this book! I love the characters and the narrator. I couldn't stop listening and wish there was more from this author.

The narration

The story itself was quite good but what really brought the story to life was the narrator. I was on the edge of my seat as the narrator brought fear, joy, dismay, anguish, and every emotion the characters weee feeling to life.
