Great book about a 2 month cruise!

This is a great book describing what your average solo sailor can experience on a journey that’s not a big global circumnavigation. It allows for a detail you rarely get from books that cover much longer voyages and that makes it in many ways more informative for newer sailors. Well written and well read. I highly recommend this and the authors other book becoming a sailor. Well done, Paul!

Adventure

The vivid descriptions of the colorful tropical fish and reefs are incredible. This audiobook was a great escape from my cold weather blues.

Good story

It talks of the bug splats of cruising on a sailboat. It’s not all bikinis and beaches, also and more importantly speaks of the satisfaction of a passage under sail.

Inspirational

I’ve been listening to Paul’s Offshore Sailing & Cruising podcast for sometime now and have gotten so much inspiration and knowledge out of it. This book was devoured in short time. I loved it! Amazing writing, honest, and entertaining. I highly recommend to anyone interested in sailing and look forward to his other works!
