The extreme details that no movie was worthy of.

I felt the nephew whined to much, like a child. However, I liked how the Icelanders role was cast.

Excellent narration

A very good story, with good humor and light suspense. The author does a great job transporting you to the center of the earth.

The Center

Upon this, my first reading, I was captivated by the scientific research and use of the vocabulary . Realistic, engaging and enjoyable.

Classic Julse Verne. Worth another listen

This book has been read and heard in full more then once. it holds up well. Good reader also

Classic Book but no Modern Adventure

This book was great. I enjoyed it fully and Derek Perkins narrated it very well. My only regret was the quickness in its conclusion. For me at least, but it was worth listening to and I’m glad I did.

What lies beneath....

Fantastic underground adventure. Wonderful reader. Chapters are short so you want to keep listening. (Just one more chapter... You'll say that a lot!) This is a fine presentation of a solid classic. Absolutely worth the $ or credit.

Classic Science Fiction

Great story. We’ll written, the narrator did a great job to capture the perspective of all the characters.

A must read sci-fi classic

It just keeps better as the book goes on, almost makes you believe that one could survive the center of the earth!

Brief review

An excellent classic science fiction adventure focusing on the journey traveled by the main character both through the mantle with his uncle, but also the journey through himself from elation to despair.

Got around to another classic

I thought the performance of this was excellent. I really enjoyed listening to this book
