The author explains how Jesus is in every detail of God‘s whole word. As he calls it the first and second testament Jesus is present everywhere. You have to look for him on purpose. The Hebrew or Jewish believer does it naturally see Jesus in the old or first testament. But even if he’s not a believer he can choose to look for him and he will find him. It helps the New Testament believer understand the Old Testament when looking through the eyes of Jesus.
