DNF based on narration

I was so excited about this new audiobook! Unfortunately the narration was so horribly unbearable that I had to return it. I stayed with it as long as I could, but had to give up for the sake of my sanity (it is THAT bad). I downloaded the book on Kindle to read without the audio because the story itself was Devney Perry greatness! I read another author's blog saying most authors have no involvement in choosing their Audible narrators, and this production was absolute proof of that fact. No way would any author allow this male narrator to be Jasper Vale!! Devney should demand that Jason Clarke or Teddy Hamilton redo this one (they have been fabulous in her other audiobooks).

Terrible male narrator!

Loved the storyline but someone should have checked the narrator his voice absolutely doesn’t fit the character and actually makes me cringe! I can barely listen to him! He makes me think this tough rugged character is a very metrosexual man who’s 60 years old. I can deal with the female but she’s not great either. I loved the narrator in other bucks she should have stuck to them. Not sure I can even finish I may have to go to the printed book it’s so bad.

the story overall i loved! i struggled with the male narrator - but overall i loved the story.

Wrong Narrator

The male narrator did not interpret the hero correctly…his voice became irritating at times. Especially when he pronounced the heroine’s name, Eloise..I am so glad I am finished and don’t ever have to hear him say “Elle-ohhhh-weeeeeeez” again.Who chooses the narrators? I have been stunned at just how inadequate some narrators are in the world of audiobooks. A good narrator can enhance the book, while a bad narrator can spoil what is a good book.

I’m loving this series!

I think this might be my favorite in the series. I do feel like the male narrator didn’t really fit for Jasper. But overall I enjoyed listening to this one
