Definitely tied into other books but overall good

I liked the reading of this book but was a little lost. I have read the others in this series but there are so many characters & so many intertwined relationships it is sometimes hard to keep up. Liked the story & good narration.

Engrossed

These are fairly short stories, but they are packed with details. Enjoying being drawn into the pack. Enjoying the story lines between these different couples. Desperately waiting for the next one to come out so I can keep going. Lance West is new to me too but enjoying his voice as I ride this journey. Keep them coming!

That’s a wrap

The narrator is the best part of this. He did a fantastic job.

After listening to the first two books of this series I’m giving up. This was kind of all over place with simultaneously too much and not enough information.

Jaime & Sawyer

This is a new to me author so I wasn't sure what to expect from this series. After reading book one and then this one, I am happily enjoying this series. These have been interesting stories and I look forward to reading more. This audiobook made the story even better to experience.

Great 2nd Book

This is the 2nd book in the Fire Ridge Pride shifters series. It is a nice, fun little story that pack a lot into it's short length and is a good read. Jaime and Sawyer are a cute couple and as their tale unfolds we learn more about the Prides and characters met in the previous book. There are a few things. There isn't much explination about things with the Prides and their abilities and the places they live. The reader has to figure out a lot for themself. Also, these are dual POV and it is something I happen to enjoy in books. the only thing with that is that I wish there was some chapter heading that says who the POV in that chapter is. Sometimes it takes rereading parts to figure out who's POV we are learning.

Lance west does a great job with his narration. He is able to bring the characters and world to life. I can't wait for further books in this series.

a little to much about pack p and family drama but when you do get Jamie and Sawyer it was a delight to listen to. The narrator does a good job with the voices and story telling.

Nice listen!!!

I was given this book for free but I definitely enjoyed it. After listening to the short and sweet book 1, I was glad to get this one. I wish the rest were on audio so I could binge the whole series. I guess I have to settle for reading the ebooks instead.

Anyway, good addition to the series. The narrator was great as well. I'm grateful I received this book as I enjoyed it immensely.

Loved Lance West!!

I’m not quite sure how to feel about this audio, mainly because I felt like I missed pertinent information from the first book. But, it was an interesting piece nonetheless. Sawyer and his surprise had me dying laughing and kept me interested.

A first time listener of Lance West and his performance was remarkable! I am still fascinated by one person who is able to successfully portray two different characters with ease. Though, I have to admit, Jaime’s voice was mesmerizing, but I’m a sucker for those deep, gravely voices.

It's been over a year since I originally read this book. When it came out on Audible I just had to have it. After a year has passed I barely remember reading book 2, I ended up listening to it twice so I could soak it all in. As this series has progressed things have changed dramatically, what it was is not what it is. I know my review is probably somewhat confusing, if you haven't read this series, but rest assured that Jae has plans for all her men and she's not going to let you down when it's all said and done.

I highly recommend the series it's like nothing I've read before. Just when you think you got it all figured out you find out you didn't have a clue.

Lance West did an amazing job with the narration and I hope he is available to do the entire series!!! I love when one narrator is able to do that and there isn't a switch halfway thru the series.

Good but,,,

This was a good story. Great world building and it kept me interested throughout. I liked both Jaime and Sawyer, however, there was very little relationship building between them. They spent a night together, knew they wanted to be together, and that was that. There were some cute moments- like with the movie date- and though most of the time they were apart, they had regular contact.

Honestly to me, this story was mostly about pack politics and family drama. The romance between the two men felt liked an afterthought and what was going on with Bobby Jo felt like the focus. There didn't seem to be much chemistry or heat between the two. Most of the intimate scenes were fade to black, or short and undetailed so it felt very tame. I listened to the whole audiobook because I did want to know what would happen, but as a romance, it was disappointing.

Lance West did a good job with his narration of the different characters' voices. This was my first book by this author. I could either read/listen to more, or I could not.
