A love letter to Philly and Black culture

I've never read a book quite like It's Me They Follow but somehow it's the kind of book I'm always looking for. Funny, a lil spicy, sweet, but also super tense in some passages. It's Me They Follow is a clever and magical read that feels really good all the way through. Definitely a fan of this author. Getting the print copy so I can read this book again!

very different type of story

This story was kind of hard to follow. Might seem clever to some. It just seemed like jumbled thoughts, not put together very well. Not for me.
