Predictable but Rated R!

Very predictable sappy romance. Rated R pieces so be prepared!

Not as good as the first..

The second book in the Bucannon Series was a bit disappointing. Found myself rolling my eyes often at the direction of the story. I like the characters that were introduced in the first book but they have lost there luster in this presentation. The narrator a disappointment after listening to Therese Plummer (my favorite) and the voices she chose for the two main characters slow and dull. Still a light read and basic love story with the expected ending.

Really great audiobook

Cecelia Frontero did an amazing job of narrating this book, she gets just the right variation in voices and makes the males voices sound masculine without over doing it.
This story was sweet and easy to listen to. The book kept moving well and the characters were really relatable and had enough backstory and depth that I cared what happened to them and cared if they got their happy ending.

Almost too sweet

I’m glad Therese Plummer is reading the other books in this series. It is amazing how much her readings add to a story.

Loved It!

I really don't like to read... books aren't my thing. But boy did I get hooked on this one! It was hard to put down. It was fun, fast paced and charmingly sexy. I can't wait to read her new novel "Sizzle!"

Second Buchanan boy!

I love the Buchanan series! This is my favorite out of the four books. The only complaint I have, I wish they would have used the same narrator in all four books. Once you have a characters voice in your head, it is hard to listen to someone else read. But I got use to it.

I am downloading book 3 as I type!

Enjoyable!

This is the story of a troubled Marine and a frightened woman hiding her child from the child’s drug abusing father. Neither person is looking for a relationship, Elyssa has trust issues and a young daughter to take care of and protect, Walker is a psychological battle scarred military Veteran. Various issues, problems keep throwing these two together, not to mention the lil girl whose sweet innocent had a way of worming herself into Walker’s heart. This is book two in the series, and we got to witness Penny’s baby being born, catch up with Reid, watch Gloria take a fall, and Naomi returns happy and content. The only sad part is the sister, hopefully we will see her in a later book.

The narrator did a commendable job, made the story quite enjoyable.
