Excellent book for anyone interested in investing (not trading or speculating) in the stock market.

The author even has a pay for website that soyrces all conpany financials to make it super easy to evaluation companies.

note I do think that net nets are still a valuable strategy as long as is done internationally

Title accurately describes book

My only nitpick about this book is that the hand out PDF file is really not optional. since audible does not provide that PDF you need to exert extra effort to find it before you start to listen

Without trying to make this review seem hyped...

This is an excellent book. I typically don’t leave reviews, but I felt compelled to on this one. This is more of a thank you to the author. They did a great job compiling value investing principles in an easily digestible format. I’ve been a fan of Gurufocus for a while and have used them for a lot of my research. I’m already profitable on my account which isn’t really hard in this economy. But I feel a sense of safety knowing the stocks I chose can likely weather most storms and will generate profits for years to come. Once my account is big enough, I will definitely consider signing up with gurufocus as just their free tools are indispensable. Thank you Charlie Tian

Sales Pitch

Came across as a promotion for his website. Many references to tables and charts not visible through an audible book. Many formulas verbally conveyed letter by letter/number by number. Website links spelled out that will become outdated. A lot of abbreviations introduced quickly and referenced frequently.
