Many homeschool parents have a long-term relationship with self-doubt. "Did I make the right decision?" "Could someone else do this better?" "Am I robbing my kids of something by not sending them to 'regular school'?" What if there's a better way? Not a three-step technique or a shiny, new curriculum but a change in perspective that transforms the way you plan, teach, and homeschool?

Memories are the cornerstones of our identity, shaping who we are, how we act, and how we feel. In his work as a happiness researcher, Meik Wiking has learned that people are happier if they hold a positive, nostalgic view of the past. But how do we make and keep the memories that bring us lasting joy? The Art of Making Memories examines how mental images are made, stored, and recalled in our brains, as well as the "art of letting go" - why we tend to forget certain moments to make room for deeper, more meaningful ones.

Motherhood is a challenge. Unfortunately, our worldly culture offers moms little in the way of real help. Mamas only connect to celebrate surviving another day and to share in their misery, rather than rejoice in what God has done and to build each other up in hard times. There has a be a better way, a biblical way, for mamas to grow and thrive. M Is for Mama offers advice, encouragement, and scripturally sound strategies seasoned with a little bit of humor to help you embrace the challenge of biblical motherhood and raise your children with love and wisdom.

Resumen del Editor
Your personality is a gift, not a liability. This book helps you uncover and embrace the hope, laughter, and joy of using your unique gifts to parent your children.
Life as a mom is loud, but you long for quiet.
When the volume of family life clashes with your personality, frustration, guilt, and overwhelm naturally result. In Introverted Mom, author Jamie C. Martin lifts these burdens from your shoulders, reminding you that your steady strength is exactly what your family needs in this chaotic world.
Jamie shares vulnerable stories from her own life as well as thoughts from other introverted mothers, letting you know you're not alone. Her practical suggestions and creative inspiration are enhanced with quotes and insights from four beloved writers - Louisa May Alcott, Jane Austen, L. M. Montgomery, and Laura Ingalls Wilder. Together, Jamie and this band of fellow introverts share their wisdom on:
- Believing that you're enough
- Self-acceptance that leads to freedom
- Navigating heartache and disappointment
- Stretching out of your comfort zone
- Connecting with God as an introvert
- Cultivating calm wherever you are
- Defining for yourself what really matters
Whether you've just realized you're an introvert, or if you've known it all along, this book is for you. It's time to honor who you are and savor life as an introverted mom.

Almost any parent you asked would tell you that they want their children to be happy, successful adults. But many of us forget (or never knew to begin with) that lasting personal joy is not necessarily found the way the world says it is - through reaching a certain socioeconomic status, having a certain job, buying a certain house, or having a certain amount in one's bank account. In fact, says Kristen Welch, author of Raising Grateful Kids in an Entitled World, personal satisfaction comes not from grabbing onto things but from holding them with an open hand and, very often, giving them away.

"A long and happy marriage." It sounds like the end of a fairy tale - an illusion that modern times have exposed. And it is, if marriage depends on a constant stream of romantic emotion, or even on copious amounts of time or money. Thank the Lord, none of those are necessary. Two thousand years ago, Paul gave women the key to a successful marriage, and it can be summed up in two words: unconditional respect. It's not popular. It doesn't sound fair. It can be hard to imagine. But it works. Nina Roesner has led countless women through this practical and life-changing journey, and in The Respect Dare she offers you the hope that so many others have found. Day by day, true stories and thought-provoking questions will help you apply biblical wisdom to the most important relationship in your life.

The transition from "married" to "married with children" can be tough. Before they know it, a once youthful and energetic married couple finds themselves in a minivan loaded with noisy kids and littered with Cheerios, crusty Sippy cups, banana peels, and missing library books. As much as you love your children and work hard to nurture and train them for the future, the challenges that come with parenthood can make the "for better or for worse" promise a hard one to honor.

Parenting isn't rocket science, it's just brain surgery. And Dr. Joshua Straub has good news for you: You can do it! You don't need to do all the "right" things as a parent. Both science and the Bible show us that the most important thing we can provide for our kids is a place of emotional safety. In other words, the posture from which we parent matters infinitely more than the techniques of parenting. Emotional safety - more than any other factor - is scientifically linked to raising kids who live, love, and lead well.

Loved this book. I upped the speed to 1.3 so it would be read at a pace that was better for me. I absolutely love audiobooks that are read by their authors.
This book was very uplifting and encouraging.

Needed and Appreciated
This book was soothing balm for my exhausted, introverted soul. I feel like I not only know myself more fully, but can love myself more authentically. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and insights.

I no longer feel alone
I cannot express how much this book touched my sensitive, introverted soul. As a mom to two school aged boys and an extroverted husband, I have struggled the past 10 years to figure out why I couldn't be more like other moms or wives. Learning about introversion and high sensitivity helped so much, but I still longed to figure out how to be the calm, steady mom my boys need while honoring my needs. And to help my husband understand me. This book was like the missing puzzle piece for me. I feel understood, inspired, and much less alone. Thank you Jamie, for providing this to all of us introverted moms out there. What a gift.

So, so needed.
A wonderful book for the never-resting, guilty-feeling introverted mom of today. Force yourself to stop, make a cup of tea or coffee, grab a cookie, and sit. And listen. And absorb.

Understand myself better
This was perfect for learning to understand myself as an introvert and a mom and why I react certain ways. It has been helpful to know that it is a part of who I am and I need to include certain things in my life and exclude others to have the peace I'm looking for in my heart and in my home.
