The greatest series prequel !

Extremely well written and very well following the destroyer men series . A must read or listen by one of the best new authors .

Author didn’t make timelines clear

Highly colorful & detailed writing. Characters were clearly developed. However I was disappointed by the fact that the author’s world building using the Destroyer Men series environment was also used with the Artillery Men series, but never made it clear that they took place 100 years apart. I was reading & hoping for a joining of forces. Only the last chapter ties up both worlds. Reader never finds out how the Australian, Courtney, travels back to our dimension to write his memoirs.
