Cold, fine drops of rain fall softly on Evie's cheeks as she emerges from the darkness of the ship's interior to the gray, overcast sky of the main deck. Pulling her dark peacoat tighter to her body, the wind lifts red tendrils of her hair. She walks slowly to the railing overlooking the water. She catches her first sight of the Irish coastline; its craggy landscape makes her shiver in dread. She finds it difficult to imagine now how the Gancanagh had made this their home for so long without anyone realizing it. The cold, moss-covered edifices practically scream their presence. As she studies the shadows between the falling-down stone, she imagines creeping shapes of undead Faeries grasping the rock, waiting for their ship to draw nearer to their position. Tipping her face up, she lets the rain wash over her. It bathes away the frigid sweat of fear that has broken on her brow. "You don't know how fiercely beautiful you are, do you?" a quiet voice behind her asks, causing her to stiffen and fix her eyes on the rocks along the shoreline.

I love the series! I enjoy the narrator she is so amazing!!! would recommend to a friend.

Fantastic narrator!

The narrator performs no less than 10 voices with different inflection allowing each character to come to life. The writing is just as flawless and enchanting as the other books in this series. I'm very impressed with the storyline and it's complicated plot lines.

team reed or team brenus?

i am loving this series. most times i find myself team reed but definitely have a love hate relationship with Brennis

Absolutely in love with this series. I love the creativity and storyline and I never rate 5 stars but this series has earned it!

Would you consider the audio edition of Incendiary to be better than the print version?

Again another wonderful job done not just by the author, but by Emily and her performance! I would definitely listen to them again!!

Not only do I LOVE these books but Emily brings the characters to life for you! Emily did an AWESOME job bringing the books and characters to life. Best audible books thus far, thank you!!!

Amazing!!!!!

OhMGee. Read and listened. I am absolutely loving this series as always. Listening to it is totally different from reading it. I love it both ways.

Audible Romance Rocks!!!!

It’s a hard listen because of the narrator

I really enjoy the story line, and have devoured the first four books in just under two weeks. However, as the series goes on, Emily’s mouth noises are getting more pronounced and aggravating. It takes away from the story. If I wasn’t so wrapped in the story line, I would have given up by now.

Can this get any better?

The answer is no! I highly recommend this series, but you HAVE to read from the beginning. I absolutely adore this story of good vs evil

Growth

I truly enjoy this series as well as the introductions of the new characters. My only pet peeve would be the slow growth of Evie. It appears she's continuously in the same predicament with no character development, and that causes the book to become predictable.

Premonition

Fantastic series all around. The narration is great except for Zephyr's voice. It sounds nasal and doesn't fit the mental picture of Z that I have.
