Fabulous Well Written Story!

The in depth characters of this well written continuation of a heart felt wartime love story is a pleasure to escape in. I love the separate points of views of the two main characters and others the, author expertly conveys to the audience. The different perspectives of the main characters and description of their love making is on point. The unfolding of the storyline and a intimacy of the main characters as they share various moments, makes total sense. The performance of the narrator is excellent with the just right tone! Looking forward to enjoying the third installment of this wonderful book series.

Engrossing storyline and characters

What do you get with great writing and great narration (Abby Craden does it again!!)?

A four part adventure that is very hard to put down/ stop listening. I was so enthralled by this story and performance- I needed it to end so I could get work done lol and also dreaded it ending.

If you like well written historical fiction with sapphic forward arch… you will love books 1-4. Listen in order. You won’t be disappointed.

Love this series thankful to the ppl who reccomended it. Jenny and Kat are rivaled in complexity, layers, and engagement by the mcs of the Juliana series only. J.E. Leak is a very evocative writer these two women exude chemistry whilst also frustrating you at points though you understand both of thier reasons for the respective pushback. Excited to begin book 3.

Love the story, mystery and passion! Great dearies. Can’t wait for more. On to book 3!

Loving this series

I really enjoyed this! I’m glad I waited for the audiobook to come out, as I’ve listened to the first one that way, and continued to love Abby Craden’s performance. This was just as wonderful as the first book (I think of 4 planned?) and while it was a slight shift in tone from the first one in that this is less action/spy thriller stuff and a bit more slowburn character study as the romance progresses stuff. It doesn’t ever feel like a slow read though. I’m really loving bight Jenny and Kat as characters individually and also really loving them together. Smith can frankly go get lost, though, his jealously and pettiness around Jenny is so patronizing and irritating. SHE DOESNT LOVE YOU BACK, BABE! I can’t wait to read the next one and I highly rec this series so far.

Completely hooked and in love with this series. So well written and such beautiful story. This well deserves a tv series and would only hope it may happen one day!!!

Great second book in a series

The performance is so good it elevates an otherwise well told story. I’m listening to the series a second time.

A little too detailed on certain parts but the story is good

I like the way that the characters progress, feels natural and real. The sex scenes are sometimes a little too detailed and it feels like I’m just listening to porn but she at least does a fairly good job of it. Love the characters and are excited to see where this goes next.

Looking forward to Book 3

Not as exciting as the first book in the series but the story was okay. Interested to see how their story ends. Abby was excellent as always

Can't stop listening

I'm so immersed in the story, that I had to use my saved credits to get all four books. I just can't stop listening. Not only because of the Spy games, but also watching the developments between the two MC's.

Kat has feelings for Jenny, but she knows she can't be with her as she's not the relationship type person. She believes her past and her present make her unworthy.

Kat has major PTSD when certain situations happen. Her best friend Smitty knows how to bring her out from under the brink of those episodes.

Jenny is falling in love with Kat and believes Kat is also falling in love with her, but Kat keeps pushing her away. Those too can fight, but keep giving each other more chances.

Kat has tried to protect Jenny and keep her out of her way of life, but Jenny somehow finds her way to the OSS when applying for a different government job.
