Pretty Decent

Pretty decent book. I wasn't sure at first as it took a while for the actual plot to appear. I also disagree with the person the author decided to kill. I'm surprised Fin didn't figure out the accidents weren't accidents a lot sooner. She's a bit too trusting.

What a story!

Yikes! What a show! Yes I had it figured out fairly early but it is still a good story. I enjoy the characters. I loved how the feelings came through especially with Ray. Not sure what Aleic is thinking (he drives me crazy). Fin is wonderful and I enjiyed all the underwater scenes and scenarios. Will be listening to the next book!

Fun Story for a Scuba Guy

First I’ve read a Fin Fleming story. It was great. Been to Cayman many times diving. Fun to hear an Island story. Great read.

A Heartwarming Thriller!

I got so invested in the characters right away in this story! The author paints such a great picture of what the world in this story looks like and you really do feel like you know these people and are there watching it all happen! The characters are relatable and realistic. With ongoing suspicious activity you know you’re in for a twist but at a certain point in the story, even if you have everything figured out in your own mind, you get side-swiped over and over with twists and turns and before you know it you’re on the edge of your seat!!

This was a great listen and I cannot wait to start the next up in the series 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Great scuba details, stupid plot

At first, the storyline, location, characters were interesting, and the diving details were well done, but the plot had so many times that were beyond frustrating and unbelievable. No one is that stupid. So many times , the main character ,who is well educated, acts so illogically. And her lack of communication with her mother, who is also her boss, is also unbelievable and illogical.

Good diving; characters dumb as rocks

The diving parts of this story are very good and entertaining, but I was constantly frustrated by the actions of all the characters, particularly the protagonist, being not at all thought out. In particular, it becomes obvious early on they’re under attack from someone, but do they ever think to tell anyone on the outside who could help, like the police? No. A very frustrating read.

Cliche

The repeated conversations about absent fathers is repetitive and cliche.
The first time Fin and Lily dive together, the tank swap was obvious, and it took Fin way too long to notice.

Interesting story but a bit juvenile

The performance was good but the story itself seemed a bit too juvenile for my liking

Helpless characters

Helpless girl. It literally was nauseating. God forbid you ask for help or call police or get some cameras installed. She may as well have been a 12 year old.
