Book 2 of the series focuses on FBI Profiler, Jess Harris, working with former lover, Birmingham Police Chief, Dan Burnett, to locate kidnapped BPD detective Lori Wells. While Jess in insistent that the UNSUB is renowned killer, Eric Spears, her FBI boss disagrees. Amidst the bureaucracy quibbles, an FBI agent is kidnapped and killed. Can Jess catch the killer before it’s too late for Detective Wells?
This series is addicting! The stories ate well written and with just the right amount of sexual tension between Jess and Dan. The narrator does an excellent job with all of the characters. Now onto the next book!
