Loved the narration and the style in which the story was written. Kept me guessing until nearly the very end. Wonderful character development! I have already recommended to family and friends. Great read.

Had me on the edge of my seat

Loved the story. It brought a sense of connection to the indigenous people and communities. Loved every bit of it. Made me very proud to be apart of strong people.

It was so refreshing to read a story full of dynamic Indigenous characters. The mystery draws you in and the writing strikes the perfect balance of literary and contemporary.

Native culture and great mystery

I am a Native person and I love to hear about other tribes culture and norms while also recognizing themes and realities all or most tribal nations share. The story was amazing and gripping.

Intriguing Story

Having lived close to Browning and being friends with the Cobell family I found this narrative very interesting. Although it is a sensitive subject, I enjoyed the descriptions of locations I am very familiar with.

An authentic look into the MMIW

This book was a realistic look at life on a reservation and young adults’ feelings and reactions to the MMIW epidemic. It illustrates the unfortunate reality that sometimes people who we think we really know are not what they seem. It shows also how the drug issue impacts everyone, not just those who use or sell. It has a ripple effect through the community. It highlights the inter generational trauma and how that colors how the next generation views and responds to life challenges. I would recommend this book to others.

This story had heart, humor and horror. I liked the characters, the plot, and it was paced well. It made my eyes pop more than once!

Definitely A must Read!

This is a story that takes place on the Blackfeet Reservation and follows a group of Native American teenagers. Two classmates go missing and leads to the community being on high alert and determined to find answers. The writing felt authentic and brought Native youth slang into the conversations. I enjoyed the multiple people that told the story and felt like it was easier for me to follow along and envision the characters. Definitely a must read.
