Valerie Burns has another hit with this story. Dare I say that Madison Montgomery is maturing. THE NARRATOR, JASMINE WALKER WAS EVERYTHING 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩. WELL DONE!!!!

Fun and entertaining with engaging characters and an entertaining plot. I can't wait to see what happens next.

This one was not as good as the first 3. It took longer to get the mystery/case than the others. Still enjoyable though

The Baker Street Irregulars Never Disappoint

As a fan of the Baker Street Mysteries series, I eagerly preordered Icing on the Murder months before its release. This is the newest installment in a series that consistently blends small town charm with gripping whodunnits. Once again, the beloved Baker Street Irregulars, food-loving sleuths with a knack for uncovering secrets, set out to solve a mystery brimming with twists, multiple suspects, and the excitement that fans have come to adore.
This time, the main question is: Who killed Serafina? With suspects around every corner and motives more layered than Leroy’s croissants, the Irregulars leap into action. Their teamwork and unshakeable bond infuse the investigation with warmth and wit, while Maddy leads the charge.
However, while the plot satisfies, I remain disappointed by the pace of Maddy’s character development. She’s come a long way from the self-centered influencer introduced in book one, but her journey toward self-trust feels stalled. I’m eager to see her truly own her strengths, stand confidently in her decisions, and recognize her success as more than a byproduct of circumstance. She has the potential to be a bold and self-assured protagonist—I hope future installments allow her to fully embrace that.
Despite this, Icing on the Murder, is a delightful and suspenseful ride, worthy of any cozy mystery shelf.

Good cozy mystery

Really enjoyed, it was a little predictable. But I didnt care I’m a sucker for a cozy mystery and this series is one of my favorite comfort reads

What an amazing story to come back after a long overdue wait! I love this whole family and the story that they tell. I can’t wait to hear the next story and hopefully have a wedding of the century is going to be.

Enjoying the series. I like the team effort of regular people to solve the mystery.

Hubby and I finished in two days

I absolutely loved every moment! I’m really hoping we get more of this. We laughed, gasped, and shouted our hearts out. It turned a long road trip into an exciting adventure. Her characters were so well written that I feel like I have a dog named Baby!

Icing on the cake

This book has a great story line including the reality tv type contest. The story line kept me interested with enough action and had a happy ending.

Sassy characters, unexpected turns .

The characters, are all strong and genuinly care about friends and family. Getting together to save each other for being accused of murder.
