I loved everything about this book and can't wait for the next one! I want this turned into a TV show.

Great Story

Loved the story, a nice mix of action and paranormal. Reminds me of those rules creepypastas but in book form.

Ready for More

Love everything Jeremy narrates and especially love being able to find talented new (to me) authors through her. This story is a journey, peeled back in layers until you realize that the MC is not, and never has been, as alone as they think they are. There are horrors, but there is also humor and tenderness and resilience and growth.

No matter how much you believe you know what's coming next, or how right you may be in specific moments, you will never fully anticipate everything, as Quinn world builds continuously until the very end, making you immediately desperate for more.

Thank goodness there are three more books in this series!

Imaginative and unique.

I would give this book all the stars in the world. First heard the collection of stories on the No Sleep Podcast and was hooked. This is a modern day Grimm’s Fairytales with a strong female protagonist. Love this book!!!!!

what a lovely surprise twist at the end. loved the world building and character development.

I have read every book in this series and was so excited when they finally got it turned into an audiobook the story pacing was always good I thought the narrator did an amazing job of keeping the story flow the only criticism and it's such a minute one is I felt sometimes her male voices tended to be the same and I would like a little variation other than that did an amazing job here comes book two hurry hurry hurry please

Beautifully woven

This is one of those stories that take place in a world that is adjacent to ours, but in which some rules are different. The actions of the characters are shocking at first, but serve as a good introduction and guide, bringing the reader into the fold.
10/10 and I'll be waiting eagerly for the sequel. And maybe in the meantime, I'll go camping!

I love this book!

I first learned of this book on tik tok as someone was reviewing cozy scary books for Halloween and I thought it sounded interesting especially after hearing it originally came from a sub Reddit that I liked to frequent. My only issues with this book is the lack of trust the author has in the readers ability to comprehend the emotions and mental state of the main character Kate, constantly telling us over and over “My parents are dead and I’m sad” most of the time in inappropriate scenes that completely ruined the atmosphere for me (I won’t name specifics just for the sake of not spoiling the book as I still love the story and want people to enjoy it even if the writing is a bit repetitive at times).

I personally liked the story and I loved seeing how the book started as the average post on r/nosleep to its own original story that didn’t feel the need to limit itself to the platform it was originally posted on and with the confidence in the writing and originality we also saw the quality in character developed increase as well! Basically if you want a nice book to listen to while preparing for fall and the coming holidays this is a definite recommendation from me!
