'It was so fun to sit in on the writer's room of a successful sitcom in Melissa Ferguson's delightfully charming and wonderfully quirky romance. There are so many sweet moments and wonderful characters sprinkled throughout, and I'm certain rom-com fans are going to fall in love!'

'Super cute! Melissa Ferguson's romcoms lean more on the com than the rom, and this book is no different, delivering chuckles and giggle with an effortless writing voice, witty dialogue, and a cast of lovable characters. I was totally on board as soon as I read the premise, especially since it's a storyline I haven't already read more than a dozen times (give me all the fresh plots please!). You could say this is a grump/sunshine (although he's really not all that grumpy), enemies-to-lovers (although the hard feelings are only one-sided and misguided at that), slow burn, but I just call it a cute little romp of a book.'

Great cast and story

I liked the maniacness of Finn. They made a sweet couple and I enjoyed the listen.

Excellent fun light romance

Love this non spicy but oh so sweet romance. Highly recommend. The performances are great too.

Reminds me of a 90s Rom Com

No adult level just romantic. Only level of intimacy is kisses and such no bedroom scenes.

The characters were likable.

The narrators were great and the story had moments of humor. You wanted to root for Finn and Lavender to get together.

Great characters! I’d have “watched a few more seasons”

This was a bit deeper and less predictable than the standard romcom. Lavender was the kind of “perfect woman” that you really want to dislike but can’t because she’s so nice. I really felt for Finn through all of his struggles, which were all so well written. The narrators were a delight! (Have I ever heard Steve West read something I didn’t like?) Melissa Ferguson is a new author to me, but now I’m going to have to read more of her books.
