The characters were likable.

The narrators were great and the story had moments of humor. You wanted to root for Finn and Lavender to get together.

Great cast and story

I liked the maniacness of Finn. They made a sweet couple and I enjoyed the listen.

Reminds me of a 90s Rom Com

No adult level just romantic. Only level of intimacy is kisses and such no bedroom scenes.

Surprisingly Funny

This is a silly and fun listen. I really enjoyed it and loved being able to recommend it to my teenage daughter because it is clean. It reminds me of a classic romcom that I turn back to over and over.

Very sweet story. I love the character development of Finn. Lavender is such a kind and likable character. Just a very nice, sweet love story!

Sweet Romance

Everyone has different preferences, but I do not want language or open door/steamy scenes in my books. This book delivered on that. Easy to like characters with a light and entertaining story.

Feel good- loved the characters

Funny, lighthearted and entertaining. Not exactly what I expected but very cute. I truly enjoyed the characters. I would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet book. Very much in line with Melissa’s style if you like her others.

rom-com gold status

This book is brilliant! The way Finn is a good guy trying way too hard to be a bad guy! The way lavender a modern day, down to earth, bottle of sunshine! The way he try’s desperately to avoid her while being glued to her hip! The way he’s horribly unsuccessful at revenge while she sabotages his efforts with a plan of her own. If you like broody vs. hippy or enemy to lover this book will have you giggling with glee from start to finish.

Fun story

Great narrators. Fun story. Made me laugh several times. I recommend if you want a light story.
