Good for easy listening and multitasking

Some of the story and dialogue feel forced. I couldn’t recommend this book, but it kept me company while cleaning, driving and napping. The Keanu and other celebrity interactions have potential to be fun even if somewhat cringeworthy. The overall love story is cute. And to be fair, I probably would have never read or heard of the book if not for the inclusion of Keanu.

Ok Story

A little outlandish. A lot of celebrities the main character interacts with to include Chris Evans, Lisa Bonet, Keanu Reeve, and more. That and her obsession with Keanu Reeves was a bit much.

Who's ready for a Road Trip?

This was a fun read that had me laughing out loud quite a few times. If you are a fan of Keanu Reeves, and honestly - who isn't, you'll get a kick out of this book. Talk about next level fan girl, seriously not only does Bethany "Lu" have throw pillows with his face on them but she is about to travel cross country to see him....oh and to stop his wedding. LOL

This was a light read which was just what I needed at the moment. I loved the relationship between all three friends, Lu, Tru, and Dawn, who have been friends since they met thirty years ago in high school. They are now in their 40s, which I had to keep reminding myself of because at times Lu didn't act her age, or even close to it which I found annoying...hence the 4 stars instead of 5, and each successful in their chosen careers.

The chemistry between Lu and Tru was great once they finally acted on it because you could feel it simmering there for a while. If you are looking for a story that has cosplay, and tons of different actors pop up throughout this is the read for you. Hello Chris Evans, Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, just to name a few!

I did receive an early paperback copy of this book from Forever imprint, Grand Central Publishing but didn't have a chance to read it before it's release so I decided to purchase the audiobook and glad I did because Tyla Collier did a fabulous job with bringing this story to life.

I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking for a book with a Friends to Lovers or Road Trip Theme to it, or if you enjoy Contemporary Romance this would be for you too.

Cute but with great potential

The think I liked the most was how they wrap up the whole think of meeting Keanu and the end sene. It was so cute but I did not quite understood how did the main man character knew the one of Keanu’s bodyguard. And how the whole sene of them meeting him came about. I did love how he made her realize and accept that she was in love with her best friend all along and that it was time to let go and embrace the love. I would also would like to know what did True say to Keanu and how that conversation when about.

Disappointed

Thought it was going to be a fun listen. I actually didn’t finish the entire book. I found the narration distracting.

sweet.story

Over all.it was a sweet story but a bit too cheese for me. if it was a movie it would be along the lines of catch and release its a book.where you basically know the ending by chapter 1

Not something I would recommend

I only got 10% into this book and could not continue to listen. Not sure if it was the narrator or the actual story. I may try again at another time but could not finish this one.

The ending was predictable and the premise stupid. Thought it would be comical still waiting to laugh
