Well… run is probably the wrong word. It’s more like he accidentally saves my life, joins me for a fun torture fest from some guy who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and then ends up fleeing through unknown territory with my naked body slung over his shoulder.

Is there a better meet-cute than all of that?

Probably not, as long as we ignore the real reason I’m here.

Keeping Rylee safe is the only thing I should care about. So then how is it that I find myself being pulled along by Mads, a member of the council that I’ve sworn to get rid of? He’s charismatic, charming, and really far too suspicious, but our paths merge as I fight to end an injustice that started hundreds of years ago.

Mads is making me realize that maybe there is more to my life than becoming a martyr for people who seem to think I’m the bad guy. While others see me as a monster, he sees who I really am.

And I will do anything to keep him from the danger he’s been drawn into.

The danger has never felt so real in this universe

This book brings so much for the vrc series that it blindsided me. The addition of a so called anti hero brings a new layer to the characters that we haven't had in this universe before. The villain in this book felt powerful and even with all the characters working together it is still a fight they might have casualties in. I look forward to future books of the series especially with the potential of danger all the characters are now in. It fills like the last few books keeps adding this tension of foreboding or danger that follows into the next book. The couple was slow burn and there banter had me laughing a ridiculous amount. The characters are powerful alone in there own ways but bring them together made something really special. The narrator really was good this book, even adding a voice I hadn't heard him use before in any of his past books. The storyline of this book is needed to make since of all the past villians plans and even motives. This book dives into the characters anger turds Ender but also his reasoning for his past actions which was really needed. I recommend this book and all the past in the series.

How to Entice a Fiend is wonderfully narrated by Michael Ferraiuolo, whose voice encompasses every nuance of Alice Winters’ characters.

The VRC, Vampire Related Crimes, series continues to add vampires, sweet, evil, and a heathy mix of both. There is little joy being a vampire, but when you finally find that special partner, you look at life, whether 2 years or 2000, with a new sense of urgency.

Love will make even the most despicable man want to be a being worthy of that unconditional love.

Ender Unlocked

Quite possibly my favorite in the series thus far! And I truly love Claude and Alexei’s book, but this one….is just special! Michael’s narration is beautiful as always! I can't wait to read what comes next!

I loved this book.. It kept my attention and it reminded me of book 3. Slight similarities with both couples with a different personality but still funny and enjoyable.

Really enjoyed this series …

I have a pretty short attention span and it is very difficult for me to listen to or read long series. But, this one was really good. It kept me engaged, entertained, and wanting to know what else would happen to all of the characters. I would say book 6 was my favorite but that is prob only bc it is the last one in the series. Great job!! Will definitely check out other books from this author.

I enjoyed the series wrap up very much. Narration was great, characters were funny per norm, and all threads were followed up satisfactorily.

It was just as amazing as i hoped it would be. Ended is soooooooo redeemed and mast is well just as lovely as Finn.

This book is so funny. I had a lot of fun reading it. There are some dark and intense parts too. It balances out in true Alice Winters fashion. I stayed up into the wee hours reading it shaking the whole bed with laughter. My poor honey. I don't think he noticed though. It was like rocking him in his sleep. 😂

Ender's story is heartbreaking. I just want to bundle him up and keep anything bad from happening to him ever again. He might be grumpy but he's very genuine. I love how he's adopted Rylee and he's so sweet to her. Mads is hilarious, and adorable, and brilliant. I love them. I can't wait for more in this series! I'm looking forward to listening to the audiobook when it comes out as well.

Edit: I have listened to the audiobook and had so much fun while doing so. Michael Ferraiuolo just makes it even more hilarious. He is an awesome narrator.

Another amazing story in the VRC series

Lovable characters. Fast paced action. Touching love story. Enders actions from the previous book are explained. Series ends on a positive note.
