Review

I had a hard time with the girl narrator. She didn’t fully finish her words and the annunciation was bad. Joe was great as usual. He should have read the entire book.

Another great story in the series

I enjoyed the main story & loved getting updates on the characters from the previous books. Joe Arden & Janine Granda were awesome to listen to. I liked M. Bella as Sofia, but I struggled when she spoke as other characters. There wasn't enough of a difference in her voice to catch that she changed characters. I had to rewind a bunch of times.

Series that updates characters from prior books

Great addition to the series. I love Joe Arden's voice. The only thing I would have expected is a DNA test before the main character and her father were all in. Loved the story and the update on the characters from prior characters in the series. Look forward to the next book.

Wonderful series

It always seems like the bigger the playboy that the harder they fall. Nico has been the playboy of the family but when he meets Sofia and her little boy, he falls head over heels for both of them. Sofia tries to resist Nico but she can't especially with the way he treats both her and her son. But there's a big problem with her almost ex and the threats and danger he brings. There's a lot of action and suspense and catching up with other members of the family. I really liked the narrators- always Joe Arden and the two ladies- Janine Granda and M. Bella. I'm looking forward to the next book.

How Much I Want

I was so excited to read Nico and Sofia story. I loved hearing about the others as that includes the grandmothers POV. I was a little bored about how whiney Sofia was I can't wait for Milo story.

Disappointed in storyline

I’ve been a fan of this author and have loved almost all of her books. This book had a different energy and tone and the whole time I felt depressed. This book lacked the optimism and hope that many of her other books have, there was so much angst. And all honesty listening to this book it was painful and frustrating and the author belabored the main character’s worries.

Narration was not for me

I love all of Marie's books, however, I bought this book in audio version instead of in book version. I regret that because the narration was terrible. I still have not finished the book because I can't stand to listen to the English with the Spanish inflection. It's almost like the narrator is pronouncing every word in slow motion. As someone who speaks Spanish it was just to much for me. I still want to finish, but I can only do in 30 minute blocks, lol. I rather re-read another book than go back and listen, but I will eventually do it because I want to know how it end. I may just skip to the end :-). I never thought I would do that with one of Marie's books, but it's not the story per se it's the narration.
