Dex aka Double Dee is now up for the cupids bow... Annabelle's husband has died in an unfortunate incident while on a safari. Or so it seems. She never showed up at the alter with Dex waited forever at the church. Now five years later she see's him in their home town. And she is in trouble. Her husband has somehow left her with a big debt to repay. And someone wants her dead. This was about second chances and a secret child. Dex is not wanting anything to do with her until his team finds out just what her husband had been up too. Now time is running out and civilians are being kidnapped and spirited to another country. Can the team figure out what is going on in time to save Dex's daughter and friends? The narration kept me involved the entire time.

HOT action, HOT storyline.

Another effortlessly engrossing story. Although the after log makes it seem like it's the final book in the series it most definitely is not. There are more twists and turns than a bent oak, always a ride to the very end.

Great story!!

As with the other books in this series, I was hooked from page one! I enjoyed the action and the heat from Dex and Annabelle that went on in this book. The characters were well written and despite their pasts, had chemistry as this second chance romance went through treason and kidnapping. The plot moved along well and had me hooked from the beginning and I could not get enough right up to the last page of this story. The narration by Aiden Snow was performed well and made the whole book an enjoyable listening experience. I was not disappointed in this book and would recommend it to others.

This is the first review I have gave on the series. I should have started with book 1 but, I couldn't wait to start the next book. I would give 10 stars on this book and all the rest if I could. The story line from 1st book until Hot Addiction has been mind boggling and so great to follow. I can put myself in the characters it's so awesome. when a sentence says "with one eyebrow raised" I also raise my eyebrow. I can't wait to start the next book about Mendes. keep up the good work Lynn 👍

HOT second chance story

Dex and Annabelle's story was a second chance romance with angst as secrets were revealed and action and suspense ensued. Danger caused Belle to seek out Dex and ultimately lead them to their HEA, and Aiden Snow's narration was awesome as always.

Hot Addiction Indeed

I am so addicted to this series! Dex and Annabelle were amazing. Loved the mix of action and rekindling romance. These two were truly meant to be together. Lynn is so good at setting up for the next book in a way that makes me eager to jump right to the next story. I can’t wait to find out how Mendez is brought to his knees for a woman.

This book can be enjoyed as a stand-alone or part of the series. The characters are well developed and the action doesn’t let up from start to finish.
Aiden Snow is the perfect narrator for this book, with his gravely voice he fits my idea of a military black operative perfectly.

Enticing

You know the old saying "Don't judge a book by its cover"; well in this case don't judge a character by appearances in other books. Dex (aka Double Dee) has always been the relatively quiet guy in the HOT group. So this book was a shocker. The quiet guy is an alpha male in hiding.

It had to be so hard going back home for Dex with Annabelle living in town. If it weren't for family, I doubt he would've gone home because Belle hurt him so bad when she walked out. Little did Dex know the reasons behind it. Nor was he willing to listen. So what made this time different? Well, Belle's in trouble and needs his help and being HOT he has to help.

I do not know how he was able to sit through her telling him everything that happened to her. How did he not want to lash out and hurt someone (realizing the perpetrator was already dead). Then the shock of finding out he has a daughter...wow. How will he handle being HOT with having a wife and child? Will he "retire" like Hawk or will he re-up and continue to risk his life?

I loved seeing the Russians in this book again. I can't wait to see what is really going on with them and how they all tie back to Mendez. This series just keeps getting more and more interesting. Ms Harris knows how to entice readers and keep them coming back. Looking forward to more HOT!

Aiden Snow was the perfect fit for narrating this book. He has the gruff voice, but he pulls off the country twang from Kentucky and the Russian voices. He is just amazing.

great except the FMC

the story line was interesting in that it kept me guessing for a bit. however, the FMC made me crazy! can't stand her - she treated him so bad years ago then was angry when he was mad about it. spoiled, selfish, weak weak weak woman. can not imagine listening to this again ever even though the HOT team is irresistible
