Have you ever been disappointed before? This isn’t a small level of disappointment. No, this is harsh, life-shattering types of disappointment. This book walks through what it looks like when disappointment walks in. How do you react? How does it impact your faith?
Everyone will face disappointment. It is an inevitable part of life. It is not necessarily if disappointment will happen, but rather it is when it will happen. Disappointment happens in waves throughout our life, and it is important to think about how we will handle such disappointment.
Hope Beyond Disappointment is a memoir of what happens when healing does not come the way one might expect it to come. It helps to guide Christians through the process of lamenting in the midst of large disappointments.
Christians and even non-Christians need to understand that disappointment happens and it is okay to seek lamenting through that. Our personal relationship with Christ is the most important thing. This relationship is filled with overwhelming hope, but it’s okay to sometimes feel the pain of life’s unfair circumstances.
