Although it takes a while for Eric to get past his hatred of Ryan (a lot of that hatred is because he thinks Ryan is too nice lol), once they get started, I loved how they met all the challenges they had to deal with together and grew so much both individually and as a couple over the course of the book. There are some great side characters like Eric's mom and Pete, one of the other assistant coaches, and lots of hockey. And the two of them are so hot together as Ryan explores new aspects of his sexuality. Cooper North did an amazing job with their voices and the various accents and I can't wait to hear more from Ari Baran and Cooper North!

This is not only now one of my favorite books in this genre due to how excellently it was written, Cooper North made everything 100 times better by breathing new life into these characters. Highly highly recommended.
