For decades, government pundits have dismissed these "coincidental" deaths, even regarding them as "myths" as "urban legends." Like most people, Richard and David were initially unsure about what to make of these 'coincidences'. After all, events don't "consult the odds" prior to happening; they simply happen. Then someone comes along later and figures out what the odds of it happening were. Some of the deaths seemed purely coincidental; heart attacks, hunting accidents. The findings were absolutely staggering; as some cases were clearly linked to a "clean-up operation" after the murder of President Kennedy, while others were the result of 'other forces'. The impeccable research and writing of Richard Belzer and David Wayne show that if the government is trying to hide anything, they're the duo who will uncover it.

FANTASTIC LOOK INTO AN OFTEN OVERLOOKED PART

As stated in my title this is a great look at an often overlooked part of the JFK assassination. The fate of the witnesses. Mind blowing account of the complete lack of coincidence in the deaths of so many. Connects a lot of things that only get a overview in the many "who did it" Kennedy books. Without giving too much away I'll leave the listener to be the judge. Riveting

Although the book and narrator was really great. There are many, many sections that are complete repeats of previous chapters or sections. So many in fact that it became very hard to follow the plot/story. I can't recommend anyone buying this or using a credit on it with the double and sometimes triples of the same chapters. It was awful. I believe I bought it on a $5 sale so not out much.

Repetitive

What made the experience of listening to Hit List the most enjoyable?

I don't know if this aspect s in th printed version, but this audio version is repetitive relaying all the stories. Maybe the author wrote it this way. It's also written over dramatically, i.e., "Get a load of this..."

I liked all the delving into the mysterious deaths of minor characters in the story.
